Taunton based mobile catering company; Stone Artisan Pizza is celebrating success after winning a SW Prestige Awards for the second year running.
On Wednesday evening, at a special Awards event at the prestigious Highbullen Hotel in Umberleigh, North Devon, Stone Artisan Pizza was named as the “South West’s Best Mobile Catering Service” in the 2022 SW Prestige Awards.
Stone Artisan Pizza, owned by Taunton couple Bobs and Suze Quarton provides a mobile catering service making fresh artisan pizzas in their mobile, wood fired pizza oven. They cater at events and private functions across the South West, including Weddings, Birthday Parties, Corporate Events and local markets,
Stone Artisan Pizza also sell their “DIY, some assembly required” pizza kits for anyone wanting to experience their pizzas in the comfort of their own home.
The Prestige Awards have been running across the UK for a decade, recognising the important work of small and independent businesses that consistently offer excellent products and services.
Bobs and Suze who live in Taunton with their dog Merry, were absolutely delighted by the second win in as many years, having won best Artisan Pizza in the South West at last year’s awards.
Bobs said: “Our business is founded on ethical and environmental principles, and we work with suppliers who share our vision. Our pizza trailer was built using mostly upcycled and recycled materials, large parts of the trailer and stainless steel began their lives as parts of caravans before being transformed into our fabulous wood fired oven.
Suze added, We love what we do and we’re absolutely buzzing as it’s such an honour to have been named as the “South West’s Best Mobile Catering Service” by Prestige Awards. We must say a huge thank you to all our amazing customers and fellow pizza lovers across Somerset.”
