Local Skills Improvement Plan – have your say with our partners Somerset Chamber of Commerce
I am Shelly and I have been seconded to Somerset Chamber to support with gathering as much business feedback as possible to create a new Skills Plan for Somerset which will be published in the Spring (Local Skills Improvement Plan LSIP).
The plan will respond to the needs of Somerset employers, and shape the further education (post-16) education and training offered in our region. It’s a fantastic opportunity to have your say on the future of our region.
The previous LSIP was combined with Devon, but this is our opportunity to have a real impact on skills training within Somerset specifically.
We have 9 priority sectors and we are very keen to get some sector specific input from yourselves.
