Welcome to Moonraker 2026! “A night out with a purpose”

Join Taunton Chamber of Commerce members Milsted Langdon, Nexus Commercial, Porter Dodson, Teapot Agency and UCS College Group by lending your support for this year’s Moonkraker Challenge.

The annual Moonraker Challenge is a fantastic community event that brings together local businesses, charities and residents from across Taunton and Somerset – a walking challenge organised by Taunton Vale Rotary in support of St Margaret’s Hospice, designed to raise funds, promote wellbeing, and celebrate the strength of our local community.

“We’re expecting 400-500 participants to take part, with support already confirmed from a number of respected local organisations, and we still have a number of sponsorship opportunities available, including:

First Aid Sponsor (£1,000) – helping to create a safe environment for all participants.
Beanie Sponsor (£1,000) – branding on official event merchandise.
Checkpoint Sponsors (£500) – high-visibility opportunities along the route, with the option to help create an engaging experience for walkers.

This year’s challenge also has a fantastic local success story at its heart, with the event app having been developed by University Centre Somerset alumnus Ben Hooper, demonstrating the power of local talent supporting local causes.
