HallowsFest CIC: Creating Opportunities Through Creativity and Collaboration
Taunton Chamber of Commerce is pleased to highlight the work of Chamber member HallowsFest CIC, an organisation dedicated to supporting alternative art, music, creativity and community.
While HallowsFest may be best known for its Halloween event, its ambitions extend far beyond a single festival. The CIC is working to create spaces where musicians, performers, artists, makers and audiences can come together, discover something different and feel part of something unique. Its longer-term vision is to provide support and opportunities throughout the year, particularly for emerging artists and performers.
HallowsFest CIC is now inviting businesses, organisations and individuals to become part of that journey through a range of flexible partnership opportunities. These include becoming a Founding Supporter, Event Partner or Community Partner, with opportunities for recognition, collaboration, event involvement and connections with local creatives and the wider community.
Importantly, support does not have to be financial. HallowsFest is also looking for practical and in-kind assistance, including printing and promotional materials, equipment, food and drink, transport, professional services, advertising, materials and artist or performer support. Financial contributions can range from £50 upwards, with every contribution helping to cover event costs, support artists and build opportunities for the future.
The impact of that support is tangible. It can provide a musician with a stage, an artist with somewhere to exhibit, a performer with their next opportunity or a maker with access to a new audience. HallowsFest also aims to create welcoming spaces where people can feel comfortable being themselves.

HallowsFest CIC has already worked alongside more than 35 local businesses and organisations, drawing on a combined 15 years of events industry experience.
