Fully Funded Training: AI Leadership – Developing an AI Strategy
Taunton Chamber of Commerce member Professional Apprenticeships is launching a government-funded short course to train your staff in AI – AI Leadership – Developing an AI Strategy.
It’s an 8–10 week, flexible course built around newly approved Apprenticeship Units, designed to help your team confidently plan and implement AI. This will be delivered online and will be 1 day per week.
These are short, targeted courses (not full apprenticeships) focused on building the specific skills your business needs, delivered around your employees’ day-to-day roles.
Key points:
• Government-funded training for existing employees (19+)
• Must be based in England (50%+ working hours)
• Cannot run alongside an apprenticeship
• Includes a short end assessment to test skills learnt

Overview
Learners develop the confidence to lead AI enabled change end-to-end, assessing opportunities and risks, embedding ethical and lawful practice, and ensuring solutions are implemented with appropriate assurance and accountability. The programme also builds workforce enablement skills, helping leaders support their teams, manage resistance, and drive adoption without undermining trust.

How will this be delivered?
This apprenticeship unit is delivered through a combination of online group training, and self study tasks. The apprenticeship unit is taught by industry leading tutors that will create a personalised learning plan for each learner.
