Apple FM is Taunton’s local community based Radio Station that has been broadcasting to Taunton Deane since 2013, yes we were previously Taunton Hospital Radio but now we are so much more. In 2015 Apple FM received the Queens Award for Voluntary Service – the MBE for Voluntary Groups. Run entirely by volunteers we are a not for profit organisation that broadcasts 24 hour a day to local listeners on 97.3FM, online and via smart speakers. Starting with Breakfast on weekday, through to Drivetime in the late afternoon and then a wide selection of music shows at all other times of the day, 7 days a week.
Unique Aspects that Apple FM can provide; real time traffic and weather information in our LIVE Breakfast and Drivetime shows, local news stories that are from the county town and our wide selection of shows to suit all ages and genres of music. We also have an Outside Events unit that travels around the Taunton area to local events and shows, where we are able to broadcast LIVE from any location.
Apple FM rely on Advertising and Sponsorship to enable us to provide this service. We can carry your message to more people, more often and more immediately than other local media. £250 +VAT for 3 months full radio advert – this will be played between 4 – 7 times a day between 7am – 10pm and this includes the cost of creating a professionally scripted advertisement.
Full Package
£390 +VAT includes all of the above plus a Full Page Advert in ‘What’s On Taunton’ magazine, a quarterly publication that distributes over 8000 copies (per issue) around the county town for FREE. Featuring a wide range of sports and leisure activities as well as places to eat and events to attend
