Chris Mitchell has lived and worked in Taunton for over 20 years and, during that time has been both a partner, assistant and Associate in local solicitors firms.   Chris is now a member of the staff team at Taunton Academy.

Chris has also been involved in a number of local business organisations, as board member, as well as his role as President of Taunton Chamber.

Nick has lived in the Taunton area for a number of years, with close family ties to the area, and works for Chartered Accountants Francis Clark LLP at their Taunton office.

Following his time at the University of Exeter, Nick qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Smith & Williamson before joining KPMG in 2007 where he worked on a wide variety of small, medium and larger businesses providing audit and advisory services from their London, Cambridge and Ipswich offices until he joined Francis Clark in April 2011.

Jane has lived and worked in Taunton all her life.  She brings to the role more than 20 years administration experience gained in local government, private and charity sectors.

Jane is the Chamber of Commerce link with Young Enterprise SW, in particular as a volunteer mentor with children of primary and secondary school age.

Director of Summerfield Developments SW Limited, Summerfield are both commercial and residential developers based in Taunton and operating throughout the South West.

I have worked in the construction and property development sector in the Taunton area for 20 years.

Nigel is a Chartered Architect who has run his own architectural practice in Taunton for more than 20 years.

Nigel has served on the Executive Committee for seven years, and represents the Taunton Chamber as a board member on the Taunton Deane Local Strategic Partnership, the Taunton Cultural Consortium, Project Taunton Growth Board and Taunton Business Forum.

Have served on the Chamber Exec for at least 10 years and was appointed to the exec when I was chair of the now non-existent Town Centre Retailers Group.

Always interested in things that affect businesses in Taunton and generally try to support the good and put up resistance to the bad.

Colin represents the Chamber of Commerce on the Local Ratepayer's Forum.

Liz has worked with the Chamber Executive Committee since 1999 and is a past-president.  She originally joined the Chamber to represent Somerset College, where she was Marketing Director.  She later worked at Somerset County Council but is now retired.  Liz is involved in the work of a number of organisations locally and regionally.  She chairs Equality South West and the Women's Equality Network Somerset (WENS).  Liz's career has included teaching, marketing and communications and customer service management.  Liz represents the Taunton Chamber at Taunton Town Centre Company meetings and at variety of other functions.
