Chris Mitchell has lived and worked in Taunton for over 20 years and, during that time has been both a partner, assistant and Associate in local solicitors firms.   Chris is now a member of the staff team at Ladymead Secondary School.

Chris has also been involved in a number of local business organisations, as board member, as well as his role as president of Taunton Chamber.

I have worked in the construction and property development sector in the Taunton area for 20 years.

Nigel is a Chartered Architect who has run his own architectural practice in Taunton for more than 20 years.
He has served on the Executive Committee for four years, and represents the Taunton Chamber as a board member on the Taunton Deane Local Strategic Partnership, and the Taunton Cultural Consortium.

I have been a secondary school teacher in Somerset for 30 years. After many years at Holyrood School in Chard I joined Bishop Fox’s in Taunton in September 2003 when it became a Business & Enterprise Specialist School. I have been working to promote business links between schools and the local business community ever since.

I believe that we should give our young people a much more varied curriculum than has been allowed under the National Curriculum and I think that the local business community can play an important part in the development of our young people by giving them real experiences.

Natalie Dyson is a solicitor in Foot Anstey’s Commercial Property team, where she is based at their Taunton office in Blackbrook Business Park.  She deals with all aspect of commercial property work including residential and commercial developments and advising on landlord and tenant matters.

Prior to qualifying in 2008, Natalie had a highly successful career in major account sales for two London based global blue chip IT services companies. Natalie left the IT industry in 2004 to obtain her academic legal qualifications at The University of Exeter, having gained her first degree in History at The University of Durham in 1995.
